The excursion to visit the Old LYON and Fourvière Basilica is scheduled on Wednesday 15 in the afternoon.

You can make your own way there; the meeting point is at 2:15 pm outside the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière – statue of Pope John Paul II (forecourt)

Be careful funicular F2 does not work, you will have to walk from old Lyon metro station

However, for those who prefer, you can meet Eliot Herry and  Nadezhda Shchedrina  who will be wearing a blue sweater, just outside the Convention Center at 1:00 pm. He  will guide you to take the bus and then the metro to the Old LYON station.Then , the funicular is currently under maintenance, so you will need to walk up to the Basilica. The walk takes about 15 minutes (please wear comfortable shoes). However, the view will be beautiful.

The visit should last about 2 hours.

Please make sure you have a metro ticket prepared.Tickets are available at all metro stations and tram stops. You can also buy one on the spot using a contactless credit card, but it is more expensive.
